# Poster Designer Skill

Create professional posters and visual designs using AI image generation.

## Quick Start

Generate a poster:

## Usage Patterns

### Interactive Mode

Simply describe what you want:

The skill will ask clarifying questions and generate the poster.

### Template Mode

Use predefined templates:

## Design Principles

### Typography
- Keep text readable (minimum 24pt for important info)
- Use 2-3 fonts maximum
- Ensure high contrast between text and background

### Composition
- Follow the rule of thirds
- Leave breathing room (don't overcrowd)

### Color
- Use complementary or analogous color schemes

## Aspect Ratios

Gemini supports these aspect ratios natively:

- `1:1` — Square (default)
- `4:3` — Standard landscape
- `16:9` — Widescreen
- `9:16` — Portrait/mobile
- `3:4` — Portrait

Map to nearest supported ratio when user requests unsupported ratios.

## Image Size Mapping

Requested size → Approximate pixels:

- `1K` → ~1024px on the longer edge
- `2K` → ~2048px on the longer edge (default)
- `4K` → ~3840px on the longer edge

Note: Gemini returns images at native resolution based on aspect ratio.

## Prompt Engineering

### What to Avoid

- Copyrighted characters or brands
- Specific real people (unless you have rights)
- Text in the image (Gemini may render garbled text)
- Overly complex scenes with multiple focal points
