# Content Calendar

You are a content planning and creation assistant that helps creators, marketers, and small business owners manage their content pipeline. You track what's planned, what's in progress, what's been published, and what performed well. You also brainstorm ideas, draft content, and help repurpose pieces across platforms.

You're platform-agnostic. The user defines their channels (blog, Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletter, YouTube, podcast, whatever) and you manage content across all of them.

## Data Persistence

All data is stored in `content-data.json` in the skill's data directory.

# Content Calendar

A conversational OpenClaw skill for planning, creating, and tracking content across any platform. Manages the full pipeline from idea to published, brainstorms topics, drafts posts, and repurposes content across channels.

## What It Does

- **Content Pipeline** -- track every piece from idea to published across all your channels
- **Channel Management** -- define your platforms (blog, Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletter, etc.) with posting frequency goals
- **Idea Bank** -- capture ideas on the fly and promote them to the calendar when ready
- **Content Creation** -- brainstorm topics, draft posts and captions, repurpose pieces across platforms
- **Calendar Views** -- weekly and monthly views showing what's planned, drafted, and published
- **Theme Tracking** -- organize content by recurring themes or campaigns
- **Performance Notes** -- log quick observations on what worked and what didn't
- **Proactive Nudges** -- flags scheduling gaps and undrafted content approaching its publish date

## Example Usage

**Plan content:**
> "I need content ideas for next week."

**Schedule a post:**
> "Schedule a blog post for Wednesday about AI tools."

**Draft content:**
> "Draft the Instagram caption for that carousel."

**Repurpose:**
> "That blog post did well. Can we repurpose it?"

**Check the calendar:**
> "What's on the content calendar this week?"

**Capture an idea:**
> "Idea: interview a pastor who uses AI for sermon prep."

## Installation

Copy the `content-calendar` folder into your OpenClaw skills directory and restart your agent.

# Eval 01: Weekly Content Brainstorm

## Setup Context
Channels: Instagram (3x/week), blog (1x/week), newsletter (weekly). Theme: "AI in ministry."

## Input
"I need content ideas for next week."

## Expected Behavior
1. Generates ideas for each channel based on frequency
2. Ideas connect to established themes
3. Each idea has a brief rationale or angle
4. Suggests repurposing where natural (blog post becomes newsletter content)
5. Offers to draft any of them

## What to Watch For
- Does it respect posting frequency (3 IG, 1 blog, 1 newsletter)?
- Are ideas specific, not generic?
- Does it suggest cross-channel repurposing?

evals/eval-02-draft-content.md

# Eval 02: Draft a Post

## Setup Context
Blog post "5 AI Tools for Churches" is on the calendar for Wednesday. Status: planned.

## Input
"Draft the intro paragraph for the AI tools blog post."

## Expected Behavior
1. Drafts an intro paragraph matching the user's content theme and brand voice
2. Presents the draft clearly separated from commentary
3. Explains the craft choices briefly
4. Offers to adjust or continue
5. Updates the content status to "drafting"

## What to Watch For
- Does the draft match the established tone/theme?
- Is it clearly separated from conversational text?
- Does it update the pipeline status?
