Install and run

Setup complexity: low.

clawhub skill install s177y2ebzrk8tv43ycxd02r8tn8617j3:accli-plus
  1. Setup complexity is LOW. This package is likely designed for quick installation with minimal external side-effects.
  2. Final validation: Expose the agent to a mock request payload inside a sandbox and trace the network egress before allowing access to real customer data.

# accli — Apple Calendar CLI

`accli` manages Apple Calendar on macOS via EventKit. All commands support `--json` for structured output. Exit codes: 0=success, 1=runtime error, 2=validation error, 10=auth error.

**First run:** `accli setup` to grant Calendar permissions (Full Access required in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars).

## Calendars

```bash
accli calendars [--json]
```

Returns list of calendars with `id`, `name`, `source`, `index`, `writable`. Always prefer `--calendar-id <id>` over calendar name — IDs are stable, names are not.

## Events

```bash
accli events [<calendarName>] [--calendar-id <id>] --from <date> --to <date> [--json]
```

Lists events in a date range. Calendar is required (use name, `--calendar-id`, or set a default via `accli config set-default`).

## Single Event

```bash
accli event [<calendarName>] <eventId> [--calendar-id <id>] [--json]
```

Fetches full event detail including alerts array (minutes before start).

## Create Event

```bash
accli create <calendarName> --summary <text> --start <datetime> --end <datetime> \
  [--location <text>] [--description <text>] [--all-day] \
  [--alert <minutes>] [--alert <minutes>] \
  [--recur daily|weekly|monthly|yearly] [--recur-count <n>] [--recur-end <YYYY-MM-DD>] \
  [--json]
```

- `--alert` is repeatable — adds one alert per flag (minutes before start)
- `--recur-end` and `--recur-count` are mutually exclusive
- All-day events: use `YYYY-MM-DD` for `--start` and `--end`
- Timed events: use `YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm`

## Update Event

```bash
accli update <calendarName> <eventId> \
  [--summary <text>] [--start <datetime>] [--end <datetime>] \
  [--location <text>] [--description <text>] \
  [--alert <minutes>] [--alert <minutes>] \
  [--dry-run] [--json]
```

`--alert` on update replaces all existing alerts. Omit `--alert` to leave alerts unchanged.
`--dry-run` returns `{ dryRun: true, wouldUpdate: { eventId, changes } }` without modifying anything.

## Delete Event

```bash
accli delete <calendarName> <eventId> [--dry-run] [--json]
```

`--dry-run` returns `{ dryRun: true, wouldDelete: { id, summary, calendar, start, end } }` without deleting.

## Search

```bash
accli search --query <text> [--from <date>] [--to <date>] [--calendar-id <id>] [--json]
```

Case-insensitive search across summary, location, and description. Searches all calendars unless `--calendar-id` is provided. Returns events with `calendarId` field for targeting.

## Export

```bash
accli export --from <date> --to <date> [--calendar-id <id>] [--json]
```

Exports all events grouped by calendar. Response: `{ calendars: [{ id

Apple Calendar CLI for macOS — manage calendars and events from the command line (via JXA + EventKit).

## Install

```bash
npm i -g @gopaljigaur/accli
```

**OpenClaw skill:**
```bash
clawhub install accli-plus
```

## Quick start

```bash
accli setup
accli calendars
accli events --calendar-name "Work" --from 2025-01-01 --to 2025-01-31
```

## Permissions (macOS)

On first run, you may need to grant Calendar access.

1. Run `accli setup`
2. In **System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars**, ensure the responsible app (often `osascript` and/or your terminal) has **Full Access** (not “Add Only”).

## Commands

- `setup` — trigger macOS Calendar permission prompt
- `calendars` — list calendars
- `events` — list events in a range
- `event` — fetch a single event by ID (includes alerts in output)
- `create` — create an event (supports `--alert`, `--recur`, etc.)
- `update` — update an event (supports `--dry-run`)
- `delete` — delete an event (supports `--dry-run`)
- `search` — search events across all calendars
- `export` — export all events from all calendars
- `freebusy` — show busy time slots, and the free gaps between them
- `config` — set/show/clear default calendar

Run `accli <command> --help` for command-specific options.

## Alerts

Set one or more alerts on create or update using `--alert <minutes>` (minutes before event start). Repeatable.

```bash
accli create Home --summary "Standup" --start 2025-01-15T09:00 --end 2025-01-15T09:30 --alert 5 --alert 15
accli update Home <event-id> --alert 5 --alert 10
```

`--alert` on update replaces all existing alerts. Omit to leave alerts unchanged. The `accli event` command now includes alerts in its output.

> Note: iCloud calendars preserve multiple alerts. Google Calendar via CalDAV syncs only one.

## Search

Search events across all calendars in a date range using a case-insensitive query matched against summary, location, and description.

```bash
accli search --query "standup" --from 2025-01-01 --to 2025-01-31
accli search --query "meeting" --calendar-id "ABC123" --json
```

## Export

Export all events from all calendars (or a subset) in a date range. Output is grouped by calendar.

```bash
accli export --from 2025-01-01 --to 2025-12-31 --json
accli export --from 2025-01-01 --to 2025-03-31 --calendar-id "ABC123"
```

## Dry Run

Use `--dry-run` on `delete` or `update` to preview what would happen without making any changes.

```bash
accli delete Work <event-id> --dry-run
accli update Work <event-id> --summary "New title" --dry-run --json
```

## Recurring Event Scope

Use `--span` on `delete` or `update` to control which occurrences of a recurring event are affected.

- `--span this` (default) — only this occurrence
- `--span future` — this and all futur

## Description:

Manage Apple Calendar events from the command line on macOS — create, update, delete, search, export, and check availability with full JSON output for agent use.

This skill is ready for commercial/non-commercial use.

## Publisher:

[gopaljigaur](https://clawhub.ai/user/gopaljigaur)

### License/Terms of Use:

MIT-0

## Use Case:

Developers and agent operators use this skill on macOS to inspect, create, update, delete, search, export, and check availability for Apple Calendar events through the accli command-line tool.

### Deployment Geography for Use:

Global

## Known Risks and Mitigations:

Risk: The skill asks users to globally install an unpinned third-party npm package.

Mitigation: Review the npm package provenance before installing and prefer a pinned, reviewed version with integrity verification.

Risk: The CLI requires Full Calendar access and can read, export, create, update, and delete events.

Mitigation: Grant Calendar access only when that authority is acceptable, use --json for auditable responses, and use --dry-run before destructive update or delete operations.

## Skill Output:

**Output Type(s):** [Shell commands, Configuration instructions, Guidance, JSON]

**Output Format:** [Markdown with inline bash code blocks and JSON output guidance]

**Output Parameters:** [1D]

**Other Properties Related to Output:** [macOS-only; accli commands should use --json for programmatic parsing and --dry-run before destructive update or delete operations.]

## Skill Version(s):

## Ethical Considerations:

Users should evaluate whether this skill is appropriate for their environment, review any generated or modified files before relying on them, and apply their organization's safety, security, and compliance requirements before deployment.
