# Firecrawl
Operate **Firecrawl** through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the `firecrawl` connector with the [oo CLI](https://github.com/oomol-lab/oo-cli); OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.
## Running an action
Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Firecrawl. **Do not run `oo auth login` or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action.** Fall back to [First-time setup](#first-time-setup) only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.
**1. Inspect the contract** to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:
```bash
oo connector schema "firecrawl" --action "<action_name>"
```
**2. Run the action** with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:
```bash
oo connector run "firecrawl" --action "<action_name>" --data '<json>' --json
```
- `--data` takes a JSON object string or `@path/to/file.json`; omit it to send `{}`.
- The response is `{ "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }`; the execution id lives under `meta.executionId`.
Each action is listed below with a one-line description; actions that change state carry a `[write]` or `[destructive]` tag. Before constructing `--data`, fetch the action's live schema with `oo connector schema` to get its authoritative input fields.
## Available actions
- `agent_cancel` — Cancel a running Firecrawl agent job by job ID. [destructive]
- `batch_scrape` — Start a Firecrawl batch scrape job for multiple URLs and return the async job ID. [write]
- `batch_scrape_cancel` — Cancel a running Firecrawl batch scrape job by job ID. [destructive]
- `batch_scrape_get` — Get the current status and paged results of a Firecrawl batch scrape job by job ID.
- `batch_scrape_get_errors` — Get the failed URLs and robots.txt blocks from a Firecrawl batch scrape job.
- `crawl` — Start a Firecrawl crawl job with compatibility fields accepted from legacy crawl inputs. [write]
- `crawl_cancel` — Cancel a running Firecrawl crawl job by job ID. [destructive]
- `crawl_delete` — Compatibility alias of crawl_cancel for the FIRECRAWL_CRAWL_DELETE action name. [destructive]
- `crawl_get` — Get the current status and paged results of a Firecrawl crawl job by job ID.
- `crawl_get_errors` — Get the failed URLs and robots.txt blocks from a Firecrawl crawl job.
- `crawl_list_active` — List the currently active Firecrawl crawl jobs for the authenticated team.
- `crawl_params_preview` — Preview the crawl parameters that Firecrawl would infer from a URL _meta.json

## Description: Guides agents in using Firecrawl through an OOMOL-connected account to scrape, crawl, search, and extract website content. This skill is ready for commercial/non-commercial use. ## Publisher: [oomol](https://clawhub.ai/user/oomol) ### License/Terms of Use: MIT-0 ## Use Case: Developers and other Firecrawl users can guide an agent to scrape, crawl, search, map, and extract web content, manage jobs, and check usage through their connected account. ### Deployment Geography for Use: Global ## Known Risks and Mitigations: Risk: The setup instructions suggest running a remote CLI installer that has not been verified in the supplied security assessment. Mitigation: Review the setup path and use verified official installation documentation; do not allow an agent to run the remote installer automatically without trusting its source. Risk: Firecrawl actions can change account state or cancel jobs. Mitigation: Confirm the exact payload and effect before write actions, and require explicit approval for destructive actions. ## Reference(s): - [Firecrawl skill listing](https://clawhub.ai/oomol/skills/oo-firecrawl) - [Firecrawl](https://www.firecrawl.dev) - [OOMOL oo CLI](https://github.com/oomol-lab/oo-cli) - [OOMOL CLI installation guide](https://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md) ## Skill Output: **Output Type(s):** [Text, Markdown, Shell commands, Guidance] **Output Format:** [Text or Markdown, with shell commands and Firecrawl results when requested] **Output Parameters:** [1D] **Other Properties Related to Output:** [Results depend on the requested Firecrawl action and connected account.] ## Skill Version(s): 1.0.6 (source: frontmatter and release evidence) ## Ethical Considerations: Users should evaluate whether this skill is appropriate for their environment, review any generated or modified files before relying on them, and apply their organization's safety, security, and compliance requirements before deployment.
