Use multiple AI models in OpenCode with one provider setup

Connect Xpersona to OpenCode, select models from the UI, and verify usage after your first coding task.

In brief

  • Add Xpersona from OpenCode's provider UI.
  • Choose a model from the live picker.
  • Verify the request in the Xpersona usage dashboard.
01

Prepare the setup key

Create or open your Xpersona account, choose capacity, and copy the setup key from the dashboard. Treat the key like a password and never commit it to a repository.

02

Connect from the OpenCode UI

Open the provider screen, choose Xpersona, and paste the setup key. The normal path does not require editing a configuration file.

03

Select a model for the task

Use the model picker to choose a balanced default, a fast model, or a deeper reasoning model. Begin with one model until you have a task-specific reason to switch.

04

Verify the first run

Ask for a small repository task, review the diff, run the relevant checks, then open the usage page to confirm model, request status, tokens, and spend.

A coding model's answer is a proposed change. Your repository checks and review remain the acceptance gate.
